I don’t know what it is about buffets, but they leave a real impression on kids.
Actually, scratch that. I do know why kids love buffets so much. Where else can you go and sample a bunch of different desserts without your parents saying no?!
Seriously, I remember every buffet I went to as a child. It was fun to have control over my meal, even if that meant some… questionable… food combinations. (Did I need to put Ranch dressing on everything? Probably not.)
And maybe that sense of childlike wonder is what continues to make buffets so appealing to me. The good news is, we have a fantastic one right here in Northwest Arkansas. It’s called Mirabella’s Table.
Mirabella’s is one of my favorite places to grab lunch. Their whole menu is incredible, but you can’t beat the buffet. It has ALL the good stuff: pizza, mini desserts, and a salad bar.
The salad bar is, hands down, the best thing about this restaurant. I mean it when I say that it’s the stuff of dreams. They have so many different types of greens, plus fruits, veggies, cheeses, and dressings galore. If I had to eat the same lunch for the rest of my life, I’d go to Mirabella’s, build a salad, and be perfectly happy.
But you want to hear more about the mini desserts. I know — they’re fun for adults, too!
Mirabella’s has a delectable selection of cheesecakes, pie jars, pastries, mousses, and more. The pie jars are my fave because you can try different flavors without scarfing down multiple full-size pieces of pie.
Now, if buffets aren’t your cup of tea (how?!), no worries. They also have some of the best burgers, sandwiches, soups, and classic Italian dishes in the area. No matter your preferences, it’s a great spot for lunch, dinner, or even brunch.
As usual, this isn’t an ad. I just love the food and atmosphere at Mirabella’s Table and wanted to share it with you. I hope you enjoy the experience!
